How it works
- 1
Text the restaurant and the order
The items, with the size or options for each, pickup or delivery and a name for the order.
- 2
Check the order
Book repeats every item before it calls so you can fix a mistake first.
- 3
The order is placed
The assistant calls, places it and texts you the ready time or any substitutions the restaurant offered.
What to put in your text
- The restaurant and where it is
- Each item, with size, flavor or options
- Pickup or delivery, and the address if it's delivery
- A name for the order
- Any allergy or special request
Good to know
- Book doesn't pay for you or read out a card number. You pay at pickup, or ask the restaurant how to pay for delivery.
- If an item is sold out, the assistant doesn't swap it for something else unless you said that's fine. It texts you the choices.
- For a serious allergy, confirm directly with the restaurant before you eat.
