How it works
- 1
Text the dentist and the visit
The office, the type of visit and the times you could come in.
- 2
Check what it will say
Book repeats your details, including new or existing patient and insurance, before it dials.
- 3
The visit is booked
The assistant calls and texts you the day and time, or the slots the office offered.
What to put in your text
- The dental office and its city or street
- Cleaning, exam, X-rays or a specific concern in a few words
- New or existing patient
- Dental insurance provider, or self-pay
- Days and times that work, and how flexible you are
Good to know
- For a toothache that is severe, a swelling or an injury, call the office or an emergency service directly. Book is for routine scheduling.
- A new-patient visit may need forms or an insurance check. The assistant asks the office and texts you what to bring.
- It can wait until the office opens and call then.
