How it works
- 1
Write down what you need
A sentence is enough: who, what and roughly when.
- 2
Say yes to the plan
Book shows you who it will call and what it will ask. Reply YES to start, or fix anything first.
- 3
Read the result
You get a text with what was booked or what they said. No call, no hold.
What to put in your text
- The business and where it is
- The one thing you want from the call
- Times that suit you, so it can say yes on the spot
Good to know
- You never speak to the business unless you choose to. If you do want to talk to someone, see “Skip the hold” and the assistant will ring you when a person is on the line.
- It doesn't make promises for you. If the business wants a payment, a card number or a commitment you didn't give, it holds off and texts you.
- It can wait until a business opens and call then.
Questions
What kinds of calls can it make?
Reservations, appointments, refills, orders and simple questions. It isn't built for emergencies, legal or financial negotiations, or sensitive personal conversations.
Will the business know it's an AI?
If they ask, it says so. It doesn't pretend to be you or to be a person.
What if the call doesn't go through?
If the line is busy, closed or doesn't answer, Book texts you and you can ask it to try again.
Is Book free?
Yes, Book is free to use. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to texts.
